What are we truly training for?
The answer is simple: to become winners. And that transformation is entirely rooted in our mindset and actions.
Consider the stark contrast between a Winner and a Whiner:
Winners are positive, optimistic, proactive, and genuinely excited about their goals and activities.
Whiners are negative, pessimistic, reactive, and complain about everything and anything.
Winners develop the self-discipline to bring out the best in themselves and inspire it in others.
Whiners lack mental discipline and are quick to criticize others.
Winners condition both their minds and bodies for Peak Performance.
Whiners blame others for their problems and make excuses for poor performance.
Winners consistently add value, train hard, and make a positive contribution to their teammates and the dojo.
Whiners criticize, condemn, and complain; they tend to be lazy and detract from their team’s spirit.
Winners brighten a room with their presence.
Whiners bring a dark cloud as they enter and only brighten the room upon their exit.
As Champions in Training, it’s imperative that we continuously condition our mind, body, and spirit to embody the qualities of a Winner!
